WHAT IS SHANI MAHADASA?

Our life has been divided into 120 years life cycle. This 120 Years has been subdivided into 9 Mahadasa's each governed by the nine planets. Let us find out the details of Mahadasa periods of all Planets.

Here if a Person is born on a Birth Star that is owned by the Sun, then he/she would have born at the time of Sun Mahadasa. The Period of Sun Mahadasa is calculated on the basis of the trajectory of the Sun within the Star path. Afterwards, the person would go through Moon Mahadasa (10 Years), Mars Mahadasa 7 (Years) and so on. If the person dies at the age of 90, then he may not live to see the last Venus Mahadasa.

Like wise, a person would live within 6 to 8 Mahadasa's of different Planets depending upon his life cycle. That is, a person may see or may not see all the Mahadasa's during the lifetime.

Hence everyone may or may not experience Shani Mahadasa during their lifetime. But Shani Mahadasa lasts for full 19 Years.
