The Shani owns the both the malefic houses for the Kataka Lagna. By default, the 8th house is considered as highly malefic in Vedic Astrology. Since, the Kataka Lagna falls under the “Sara Lagna” category, the 7th house is considered as “Maraka Sthana” (House of Death). That is, the Shani owns the title of “Maraka Graha” by the Lordship of its Capricorn sign. Thus, the Shani becomes double malefic due to its Lordship of 7th & the 8th house namely Capricorn & Aquarius.

The Presence of malefic Planets in the malefic houses brings difficult results. Thus, the Shani would create the following damages, when it is to be placed in the 7th house for the Kataka Lagna natives.


1. The Kataka Lagna natives would face difficult relationship with their love/life/sex/work partners (Or) they would be badly affected by their Partners (or) their Partners would be living a very difficult life.

2. The Kataka Lagna natives would face isolation from their Partners, if the Shani remains weak in the Ashtakavargha.

3. The Kataka Lagna natives would remain very submissive to their masters/gurus/mentors/seniors (in the family/society/workplace) who nearly harass them. This would happen, if the Shani remains stronger in the Ashtakavargha.

4. The Kataka Lagna natives would remain repulsive & revolting with their masters/gurus/mentors/seniors (in the family/society/workplace). They would create lot of troubles to their superiors (or) gets badly affected by their superiors. This would happen, if the Shani remains weaker in the Ashtakavargha.


Note:

1. If the Shani is combusted, then it will damage their family relationships & financial position.

2. If the Shani is retrograde, then the results would remain highly erratic (or) unpredictable.

3. If the Shani is placed in the 22nd Nakshatra/88th Path from the native’s Nakshatra (Birth Star), then it could create horrific results.

4. The above results are likely to change depending upon the Shani’s position from the Lagna & the Lagna Lord.

5. If the Shani is aspected/associated by the Rahu, then it native could develop multiple marriages/partnerships/affairs.

6. If the Shani is aspected/associated by the Ketu, then it native would face defunct relationship with their Partners (or) the Partner’s life could be paralyzed.

7. If the Shani traverses in the Uthrasada Nakshatra; and if the Sun is placed in the malefic houses, then it will add more troubles to the above predictions.

8. If the Shani traverses in the Sravana Nakshatra; and if the Moon is placed in the benefice houses, then the natives can expect significant relief from these troubles.

9. If the Shani traverses in the Dhanistha Nakshatra; and if the Mars is placed in the benefice houses, then the natives can expect significant relief from these troubles

10. The Shani’s association/aspection with Budhan could create serious damages.

11. The Shani’s association/aspection with Guru could create both the benefice and the malefic results.

12. The Shani’s association/aspection with Venus could create both the gain & the loss; and comfort & the damages.

13. The results on marriage life should be read along with the Navamasa Chart.

14. The results must also be read along with the results derived from Shani’s position in other divisional charts.

    Namaskarams Sir: I am thula lagna with Shani and Guru palced in third house . I would like to know how my shani dasa will be as it starts from June 2022. My DOB is sept 10 , 1960 , born in Salem Tamil Nadu. I was impressed with your deep analysis in Quora on prediction of Shani Dasa . So I am curious to know to know if I my 19 years shani dasa will be good or bad.

SHANI MAHADASA FOR DHANUSU LAGNA (SHANI IN RISHABA)

The Shani has a balanced relationship with the Guru, the lord of Dhanus Rasi (Sagittarius sign). The Shani is neither friendly and not a fierce opponent of Dhanus Rasi (Sagittarius sign).
